Dear Get Vocal Now Subscriber,
I want to thank you for being a subscriber to Get Vocal Now (GVN). You may have noticed the site has been relatively quiet the past several months. I have been in the process of relocating the lectures to a new location on Thinkific.com. The old site required a lot of back-end maintenance on my part and was cumbersome to post courses and manage. The new platform not only provides a way to post courses but also to include handouts. You will continue to find the website at getvocal-now.com but will need to create a new login and password.
In addition to the new location, GVN has taken the opportunity to consider the needs of its users. I have received a good bit of feedback from subscribers over the past few years and have listened to their requests for more practice materials and a systematic curriculum. To that end, Get Vocal Now is planning to modify its existing structure from an annual subscription to an "a la carte" model with courses being priced individually. The new site will function as an online study and practice portal where students can work through a variety of classes at their own pace with accompanying workbook materials and practice modules.
I want to honor your current subscription by giving you a full year from this date forward to enjoy the existing archived courses as well as five additional lectures to be uploaded in the coming weeks. As I mentioned above, you will need to create a new login and password to be able to use the new site.
I have just posted a new course on the Critical Response Process and hope you will enjoy this fantastic lecture by Susan Millard Schwarz. The Critical Response Process provides a framework for giving and receiving feedback on a work in progress. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
